About Fermi

Fermi is an AI-powered STEM learning platform. It combines university-level courses from working scientists with a one-to-one AI tutor that teaches, explains and works through problems alongside the student.

Most learning tools answer questions. Fermi teaches — it holds a line of reasoning across a whole session, notices where a student is stuck, and decides whether to explain, ask, or show. The tutor sits on every surface below rather than in a separate chat window.

How it works

A student brings a topic, a course, a problem set or a scanned assignment. Fermi works out what they already know, builds a plan for the session, and teaches through it — writing on a board, drawing the figure, running the simulation, and checking understanding as it goes. Progress, notes and everything generated along the way stay in the student's library.

What Fermi does

  • Courses — University-level courses taught by working scientists, with the AI tutor available on every lecture.
  • Concept Library — Every concept in physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and computing, each with its own lesson and its place in the map.
  • Problem Library — Worked problems with a step-by-step solver that explains the reasoning rather than printing an answer.
  • Simulation Lab — Interactive simulations for the ideas that are easier to see than to read.
  • A tour of Fermi — A single-scroll walk through everything the platform does.
