Problem
Two unbiased coins are tossed simultaneously. Answer the following:
(i) Write the sample space for this experiment in the form of ordered pairs.
(ii) Using the sample space obtained in (i), verify that the sum of the probabilities of all elementary events is 1.
(iii) Explain briefly why each outcome in this sample space is equally likely.
