Let P(x)=2x3−5x2−4x+3P(x)=2x^{3}-5x^{2}-4x+3. (i) Evaluate P(3)P(3), P(−1)P(-1) and P(12)P\bigl(\tfrac12\bigr), showing all steps. (ii) From your calculations in part (i), identify which of the numbers 33, −1-1 and 12\dfrac12 are zeros of P(x)P(x). (iii) How many distinct xx-intercepts does the graph of y=P(x)y=P(x) have at the values checked above? State them clearly.
