Problem

In a laboratory experiment, charges are transferred through a battery of potential difference 120 V. (i) Calculate the charge, in coulombs, that corresponds to 5.0×10195.0 \times 10^{19} electrons. (ii) Find the work done by the battery in moving this charge between its terminals. (iii) A further charge of 2.0 C2.0\,\text{C} is then moved through the same battery. Determine the total work done for both transfers.
