Problem

The following data give the work done on a particle at different times: W=0 JW = 0\,\text{J} at t=0 st = 0\,\text{s}, W=20 JW = 20\,\text{J} at t=4 st = 4\,\text{s}, W=50 JW = 50\,\text{J} at t=6 st = 6\,\text{s}, W=50 JW = 50\,\text{J} at t=10 st = 10\,\text{s}. Assuming the work varies linearly between the listed points, (i) Find the power in the interval 0–4 s0\text{–}4\,\text{s}. (ii) Find the power in the interval 4–6 s4\text{–}6\,\text{s}. (iii) Calculate the average power over the whole 0–10 s0\text{–}10\,\text{s} period.
