Problem

Lines mm and nn are cut by a transversal tt. The pair of alternate interior angles on the right of the transversal are (7x2−13)∘\left(\dfrac{7x}{2} - 13\right)^{\circ} and (5x3+11)∘\left(\dfrac{5x}{3} + 11\right)^{\circ} respectively. (a) Assuming that m∥nm \parallel n, find the value of xx and the measure of each of the alternate interior angles. (b) The lines mm and nn will not be parallel if the two alternate interior angles are unequal. For integral values of xx between −10-10 and 4040, list all values for which mm and nn are not parallel, giving reasons for your answer.
