Problem

In a survey, a bag was shaken thoroughly and a coloured bead was drawn, noted and replaced each time. After 120 such trials, the bead drawn was red on 66 occasions. (i) Find the current empirical probability of drawing a red bead. (ii) The experimenter wishes the empirical probability of drawing a red bead to reach at least 0.600.60 before stopping the activity. Assuming every additional draw continues to be red, determine the minimum number of further red draws required.
