Problem
Along a straight line from an isolated point charge, two points M and N are 0.05 m apart. The electric field magnitudes measured at M and N are 1.8 × 10³ N C⁻¹ and 2.0 × 10² N C⁻¹, respectively, with the stronger field at M (the nearer point). Determine the distance of point M from the charge.
