Problem

Let the two lines 2x−3y+7=02x - 3y + 7 = 0 and x+y−5=0x + y - 5 = 0 intersect at the point PP. A third line LL passes through PP and makes an angle of 135∘135^{\circ} with the positive xx–axis. (i) Determine the coordinates of PP. (ii) Find the equation of line LL in slope–intercept form. (iii) Obtain the point where LL meets the yy–axis. (iv) Compute the area of the triangle enclosed by LL and the coordinate axes.
