Problem

Point AA has coordinates (2 cm, 3 cm)(2\,\text{cm},\,3\,\text{cm}) and point BB has coordinates (7 cm, −1 cm)(7\,\text{cm},\,-1\,\text{cm}). Consider the vector from AA to BB. (i) Determine the components of the vector AB\mathbf{AB}. (ii) Compute the unit vector u^\mathbf{\hat{u}} along AB\mathbf{AB}. (iii) Find the angle that AB\mathbf{AB} makes with the positive xx-axis, measured counter-clockwise.
