Problem

An observer on level ground watches a hot-air balloon. At a particular instant the balloon is 40 m above the ground and 30 m horizontally from the observer. The balloon is rising vertically at 2 m/s while drifting horizontally away from the observer at 3 m/s. Determine the rate of change (with sign) of the observer’s angle of elevation θ\theta (measured from the horizontal) at that instant.
