Problem

A square loop of side 10 cm carries a current of 3 A. Two opposite sides of the loop make an angle of 60∘60^{\circ} with a uniform magnetic field of 0.50 T; the other two sides are parallel to the field. (i) Calculate the magnitude of the force on each of the two sides that are inclined at 60∘60^{\circ} to the field. (ii) Determine the net force acting on the loop.
