Problem

In a circle with centre OO, ABAB and CDCD are two chords such that AB=CDAB = CD. (i) Explain why ∠AOB=∠COD\angle AOB = \angle COD. Give complete reasoning. (ii) If ∠AOB=80∘\angle AOB = 80^\circ, state the measure of the arc CDCD and justify your answer. (iii) Let MM and NN be the mid-points of ABAB and CDCD respectively. Compare the lengths OMOM and ONON and give reasons for your conclusion.
