Problem

A wheel sensor registers that the wheel has turned through 37.68π37.68\pi radians during a test run. The wheel has radius 0.50 m0.50\,\text{m}. (i) Find the number of complete revolutions executed by the wheel. (ii) Calculate the angular measure, in radians, of the rotation remaining after the last complete revolution. Leave your answer as a decimal multiple of π\pi. (iii) Convert the remaining angle obtained in part (ii) into degrees, rounding to the nearest minute. (iv) Determine the linear distance travelled by a point on the rim of the wheel during this remaining part of the motion. Leave the answer in terms of π\pi.
