Problem

An object starts from rest and moves in a straight line with a constant acceleration of 5 m/s25 \text{ m/s}^2. Exactly 10 seconds after the start of motion, its acceleration suddenly changes to −5 m/s2-5 \text{ m/s}^2 (same magnitude, opposite direction) and remains constant thereafter. After this reversal, the object eventually returns and crosses the starting point. Find the speed of the object at the instant it crosses the starting point again.
