Problem

A gaseous substance AB2(g)\text{AB}_2(\text{g}) reacts with solid AA to form AB(g)\text{AB}(\text{g}) and the reaction attains equilibrium : AB2(g)+A(s)⇌2AB(g)\text{AB}_2(\text{g}) + A(\text{s}) \rightleftharpoons 2\text{AB}(\text{g}) The initial and final pressure are 0.7 and 0.95 bar. Calculate KPK_P . Also if the equilibrium mixture is expanded reversibly and isothermally till the equilibrium pressure falls to 0.4 bar, calculate the volume percentage of AB(g)\text{AB}(\text{g}) and AB2(g)\text{AB}_2(\text{g}) at final equilibrium.
