Problem

Two points are given as P(−4,3)P(-4,3) and Q(4,−3)Q(4,-3). Answer the following questions based only on their coordinates. (i) Write the abscissa and ordinate of each point. (ii) Find the distance of each point from the xx-axis and from the yy-axis. (iii) Verify whether PP and QQ are at the same distance from the origin. Give a reason for your answer without using the distance formula. (iv) State whether PP and QQ lie in the same quadrant. Justify your answer from their coordinates.
