Problem

Triangle PQRPQR is right-angled at QQ. The side lengths are PQ=6 cmPQ = 6\,\text{cm}, QR=8 cmQR = 8\,\text{cm} and PR=10 cmPR = 10\,\text{cm}. (a) Write the measure of ∠P\angle P in radians using an appropriate inverse trigonometric function involving the given side lengths. (b) Write the measure of ∠R\angle R in radians using a different inverse trigonometric function from the one chosen in part (a). (c) Without calculating their numerical values, determine which of the two angles obtained in parts (a) and (b) is larger. Give a clear explanation of your reasoning.
