Problem

Two identical positive charges, each +5.0 μC+5.0\,\mu\text{C}, are fixed 0.30 m apart. A third charge q3=−5.0 μCq_3 = -5.0\,\mu\text{C} is initially located exactly midway between them. Calculate the change in total electric potential energy if q3q_3 is moved to a point 0.30 m directly above the midpoint, forming an isosceles triangle with the two fixed charges.
