Problem

Consider the polynomial function p(x)=32x5−4x3+74p(x)=\dfrac{3}{2}x^5-4x^3+\dfrac{7}{4}. (i) Find the y-intercept of the graph of pp and state your answer in coordinate form. (ii) Substituting the coordinates obtained in part (i) into the expression for p(x)p(x), verify that the point indeed lies on the graph.
