Problem

The force acting on a particle is given by the vector F⃗=6i^+8j^  N\vec F = 6\hat i + 8\hat j\;\text{N} and the particle undergoes a displacement s⃗=4i^+3j^  m\vec s = 4\hat i + 3\hat j\;\text{m}. (i) Calculate the work done by this force during the displacement. (ii) Determine the angle between the force and the displacement vectors. (iii) A second force G⃗=−3i^+4j^  N\vec G = -3\hat i + 4\hat j\;\text{N} acts simultaneously over the same displacement. Find the net work done on the particle by the two forces together.
