Problem

Let A=(a3b25)4⋅a1/2A = (\sqrt[5]{a^{3} b^{2}})^4 \cdot a^{1/2} and B=(ab3)2/5B = (a b^{3})^{2/5}, where a>0a>0 and b>0b>0. (i) Express a3b25\sqrt[5]{a^{3} b^{2}} as a power of aa and a power of bb using rational exponents. (ii) Find AA in terms of aa and bb with rational exponents. (iii) Find BB in terms of aa and bb with rational exponents. (iv) Hence simplify AB\dfrac{A}{B}, writing your answer with positive exponents only.
