Problem

An object moves at a constant speed along a horizontal circular path of radius rr. (i) Write an expression for the distance travelled by the object in one complete revolution in terms of rr. (ii) Using the definition of speed, show that the speed vv of the object is given by v=2πrTv = \frac{2\pi r}{T}, where TT is the time taken for one revolution. (iii) Even though the speed is constant, the motion is described as accelerated motion. Explain why, referring to the concept of velocity.
