Problem

A biased die is rolled 10 times. Each roll is considered a “success” if the number appearing on the top face is 1 or 2. For every single roll, the probability of success is 13\tfrac13. (i) Compute the probability of obtaining exactly 8 successes in the 10 rolls. (ii) Find the probability of obtaining at least 8 successes. (iii) Determine the probability that no success is obtained in the 10 rolls.
