Problem

A particle moves along a straight line, and its motion is represented on a displacement–time graph. (i) Define average velocity for motion between two instants of time. (ii) With the help of a neat, labelled sketch of any curved displacement–time graph, explain how you would represent average velocity geometrically. (iii) State any two differences between average velocity and instantaneous velocity.
