Problem

Diagonal PRPR is drawn in quadrilateral PQRSPQRS. It is given that ∠QPR=∠SRP\angle QPR = \angle SRP, ∠QRP=∠SPR\angle QRP = \angle SPR and PQ=RSPQ = RS. (i) Prove that △PQR≅△RSP\triangle PQR \cong \triangle RSP. (ii) Deduce the relation between PQPQ and RSRS, and between the lines PQPQ and RSRS. (iii) Using the result of (ii), prove that PQRSPQRS is a parallelogram. (iv) If PQ=RS=6.5 cmPQ = RS = 6.5\,\text{cm} and QR=4 cmQR = 4\,\text{cm}, determine the perimeter of the parallelogram.
