Problem

Acetyl salicylic acid, i.e., aspirin ionises in water as : HC9H7O4+H2O⇌H3O++C9H7O4−HC_9H_7O_4 + H_2O \rightleftharpoons H_3O^+ + C_9H_7O_4^- Ka=2.75×10−9K_a = 2.75 \times 10^{-9} If two tablets of aspirin each of 0.32 g is dissolved in water to produce 250 mL solution, calculate [H+][H^+] , [OH−][OH^-] and [C9H7O4−][C_9H_7O_4^-] in solution.
