Problem

Let x=2x = 2 be a linear equation to be represented graphically. (i) Plot any three convenient points satisfying x=2x = 2 and mark them on a Cartesian plane. (ii) Join the points to obtain the graph of the equation and clearly label the line. (iii) State whether this line intersects the y-axis. Give a reason for your answer. (iv) Calculate the distance of the point (2,5)(2, 5) from the origin and verify whether this point lies on the line x=2x = 2.
