Problem

Three lines aa, bb, and cc are parallel and are cut by a transversal pp. At the point where pp meets aa, the angle on the right of pp and above aa is 35∘35^{\circ}. A second transversal qq intersects aa, bb, and cc at points MM, NN, and OO respectively, making a right angle at NN. (i) Find the angle on the left of pp and below bb. Give reason for your answer. (ii) Determine the angle that qq makes with aa. State the theorem used. (iii) Calculate the acute angle between transversals pp and qq. Record the sequence of angle relationships you have employed.
