Problem

Atomic and molecular sizes are of the order of a few angstrom ( 1 A˚=10−10 m1 \text{ \AA} = 10^{-10} \text{ m} ). Assuming that N2 molecule is spherical in shape with radius 2×10−10 m2 \times 10^{-10} \text{ m} , calculate: (1) the volume of single N2 molecule. (2) the percentage of empty space in one mole of N2 gas at STP.
