Problem

In parallelogram ABCDABCD, the diagonals ACAC and BDBD intersect at OO. Given: ABCDABCD is a parallelogram. To Prove: The diagonals bisect each other, that is, AO=OCAO=OC and BO=ODBO=OD. Answer the following: (a) State which two pairs of triangles you will establish as congruent in your proof. (b) Write a detailed paragraph proof that the diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other, explicitly citing every axiom, postulate, or theorem used at each step. (c) From your proof, write the equalities obtained for the four segments into which the diagonals are divided.
