Problem

A constant force F⃗=7i−3j+4k\vec{F}=7\mathbf{i}-3\mathbf{j}+4\mathbf{k} newtons acts on a body that undergoes a displacement d⃗=3i+6j−2k\vec{d}=3\mathbf{i}+6\mathbf{j}-2\mathbf{k} metres. Answer the following questions. (i) Calculate the work done by the force during the displacement. (ii) Determine the acute angle between F⃗\vec{F} and d⃗\vec{d}, correct to two decimal places. (iii) Find the magnitude of the component of F⃗\vec{F} along the direction of d⃗\vec{d}.
