Problem

Three resistors of 2 Ω, 3 Ω and 6 Ω are connected as follows: the 2 Ω resistor is in series with a parallel combination of 3 Ω and 6 Ω. The arrangement is connected across an 18 V supply. (i) Find the equivalent resistance of the entire circuit. (ii) Calculate the current flowing through the 2 Ω resistor. (iii) Determine the current through the 3 Ω resistor.
