Problem

Three rods of equal length and cross-section are made of aluminium (k=205 W m−1K−1)(k = 205 \text{ W m}^{-1}\text{K}^{-1}), concrete (k=1.1 W m−1K−1)(k = 1.1 \text{ W m}^{-1}\text{K}^{-1}) and stainless steel (k=16 W m−1K−1)(k = 16 \text{ W m}^{-1}\text{K}^{-1}). Their ends are kept between two heat reservoirs differing in temperature by the same amount. Arrange the rods in decreasing order of heat current flowing through them.
