Problem

In parallelogram LMNOLMNO, the diagonals LNLN and MOMO intersect at PP. If LP=3a−2LP = 3a - 2, PN=a+4PN = a + 4, MP=2b+1MP = 2b + 1 and PO=4b−5PO = 4b - 5, all in centimetres, find (i) aa, (ii) bb, and (iii) the ratio LN:MOLN : MO.
