Problem

Let h(x)=x2−9x2−4x+3.h(x)=\frac{x^{2}-9}{x^{2}-4x+3}. Answer the questions given below. (i) Determine all real numbers at which hh is not defined, and hence identify the points where hh is discontinuous. (ii) For each discontinuity obtained in part (i), state whether it is removable or non-removable. If it is removable, define a revised function h~(x)\tilde{h}(x) that removes the discontinuity and specify the value that should be assigned.
