Problem

Block A of mass 1 kg1\,\text{kg} rests against a vertical rough wall and on top of block B of mass 2 kg2\,\text{kg} which is on a horizontal rough floor. The coefficient of static friction at all contact surfaces is 0.400.40. A horizontal force FF is applied to block B pushing it towards the wall. Find the minimum value of FF required for block B to start moving while block A remains at rest relative to both the wall and block B.
