Problem

Two identical point charges, each of magnitude 3.0 μC3.0\,\mu\text{C}, are originally 0.40 m0.40\,\text{m} apart and the electric potential energy of the system is measured to be 1.8 J1.8\,\text{J}. To what separation should the charges be moved so that the potential energy becomes 3.6 J3.6\,\text{J}?
