Problem

Two circular loops, A and B, are made of the same wire and lie in the same plane with their centres coinciding. Loop A has radius 12 cm12\,\text{cm} and carries a current of 4 A4\,\text{A}. Loop B has three turns, each of radius 6 cm6\,\text{cm}, and carries a current of 2 A2\,\text{A}. (i) Calculate the magnetic field produced at the common centre by loop A. (ii) Calculate the magnetic field produced at the common centre by loop B. (iii) Which loop produces the stronger magnetic field at the centre? Find the ratio of their magnetic fields.
