Problem

A six coordinate complex of formula CrCl3⋅6H2O\text{CrCl}_3 \cdot 6\text{H}_2\text{O} has green colour. A 0.1 M solution of the complex when treated with excess of AgNO3\text{AgNO}_3 gave 28.7g of white precipitate. The formula of the complex would be : (1) [Cr(H2O)6]Cl3[\text{Cr}(\text{H}_2\text{O})_6]\text{Cl}_3 (2) [CrCl(H2O)5]Cl2⋅H2O[\text{CrCl}(\text{H}_2\text{O})_5]\text{Cl}_2 \cdot \text{H}_2\text{O} (3) [CrCl2(H2O)4]Cl⋅2H2O[\text{CrCl}_2(\text{H}_2\text{O})_4]\text{Cl} \cdot 2\text{H}_2\text{O} (4) [Cr(H2O)3Cl3][\text{Cr}(\text{H}_2\text{O})_3\text{Cl}_3]
