Problem

A bucket is lifted vertically upward at constant speed by a rope. (i) State whether the work done by the tension in the rope contributes to the change in kinetic energy of the bucket. (ii) State whether the work done by gravity contributes to the change in kinetic energy of the bucket. (iii) What is the net work done on the bucket during the lift? Give reasons for your answers.
