A block of mass 5kg rests on a smooth plane inclined at 30∘ to the horizontal. It is kept in equilibrium by a horizontal force F acting on the block.
(i) Draw a free-body diagram for the block indicating all forces.
(ii) Determine the magnitude and direction of F.
(iii) Hence obtain the value of the normal reaction exerted by the plane on the block.
