Problem

During an experiment on a constant-temperature resistor, the following observations were made: Potential difference V (V): 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 Current I (mA): 25, 50, 75, 100, 125 Using these readings, answer the questions below. (i) Plot a graph of current I (vertical axis) versus potential difference V (horizontal axis). (ii) Determine the resistance of the resistor from the graph. (iii) Using the value of resistance obtained in part (ii), calculate the current that would flow if the applied potential difference were raised to 3.0 V.
