Problem

Solve the tangent equation tan⁡x2=3\tan \dfrac{x}{2} = \sqrt{3}. (i) Write the general solution for x2\dfrac{x}{2} that satisfies tan⁡x2=3\tan \dfrac{x}{2} = \sqrt{3}. (ii) Hence, obtain the general solution for xx. (iii) Determine all solutions of xx, in degrees, that satisfy −180∘<x≤180∘-180^{\circ} < x \le 180^{\circ}."
