Problem

A logarithmic function ff is defined by f(x)=log⁡axf(x)=\log_a x with a>0, a≠1a>0,\,a\neq1. A new function gg is obtained by translating the graph of ff two units to the right and three units upward. The graph of gg passes through the point (6,1)(6,1). (i) Obtain the value of the base aa. (ii) Write the explicit equation of g(x)g(x). (iii) Determine the xx-coordinate of the point where the graph of gg cuts the xx-axis. (iv) State whether the graph of gg is increasing or decreasing and justify your answer from the value of aa. Also mention its concavity.
