Problem

A car A is moving due east with velocity 60 km h−160\,\text{km h}^{-1}. Another car B moves with velocity 45 km h−145\,\text{km h}^{-1} at 30∘30^{\circ} north of east. Determine the velocity of B relative to A. (i) Give the east and north components of the relative velocity. (ii) Hence find its magnitude.
