Problem

Points A, B, CA,\,B,\,C and DD lie on a circle with centre OO in this order. The central angles are ∠AOB=(x+20)∘,  ∠BOC=(2x−10)∘,  ∠COD=(x+40)∘\angle AOB=(x+20)^{\circ},\;\angle BOC=(2x-10)^{\circ},\;\angle COD=(x+40)^{\circ} and ∠DOA=(2x+10)∘\angle DOA=(2x+10)^{\circ}. Which statement about the lengths of the chords is correct? (a) ABAB is the longest chord; BCBC and CDCD are equal and DADA is the shortest chord. (b) BCBC, CDCD, and DADA are all equal in length and longer than ABAB. (c) DADA is the longest chord; BCBC and CDCD are equal and longer than ABAB. (d) BCBC is the longest chord, followed by CDCD, then DADA, then ABAB.
