Problem

Let θ\theta be an angle such that sin⁡θ=35\sin\theta = \dfrac{3}{5} and θ\theta lies in the second quadrant. Answer the following: (i) Find cos⁡θ\cos\theta and tan⁡θ\tan\theta. (ii) Determine the exact values of csc⁡θ,  sec⁡θ\csc\theta,\;\sec\theta and cot⁡θ\cot\theta. (iii) Verify that sin⁡2θ+cos⁡2θ=1\sin^{2}\theta + \cos^{2}\theta = 1 for the values obtained.
