Problem

In △PQR\triangle PQR, ∠R=90∘\angle R = 90^\circ, PR=13 cmPR = 13\,\text{cm} and QR=5 cmQR = 5\,\text{cm}. (i) Determine ∠P\angle P correct to the nearest minute. (ii) Hence find the area of △PQR\triangle PQR correct to one decimal place. (iii) Point SS lies on PRPR such that RS=7 cmRS = 7\,\text{cm}. Using the value of ∠P\angle P obtained in part (i), calculate the length of QSQS correct to two decimal places.
