Problem
A ladder 7.5m long rests against a vertical wall. The foot of the ladder is 4.5m away from the wall on level ground.
(a) Calculate, correct to one decimal place, the angle that the ladder makes with the ground.
(b) Using the result from part (a), find the height (to the nearest centimetre) at which the ladder touches the wall.
(c) State whether the height found in part (b) would change if the ground were raised uniformly by 0.2m everywhere, and give a brief reason for your answer.
